Pomelo Juice


  • 1.5 oz.Vodka
  • .5 oz. Aperol
  • .5 oz.Grapefruit Juice
  • 2 oz. Dry White Wine


This drink is not demure, it is not sweet, and it is not a push-over… so of course I love it! 

I tried to stick with things that you might have on hand in your fridge and on your liquor shelf.


Try to use fresh squeezed juice from half of a grapefruit.  One half grapefruit should yield about 0.5 oz of juice and LOTS of Vitamin C - keeping that immune system up and running and great excuse for a cocktail or another cocktail! Save the other half for your second round, or someone else in your home (if you can still stand each other… ha ha ha). 


Add Vodka, Aperol, and grapefruit juice to a shaker with ice and you guessed it shake it. If you don't have a cocktail shaker at home, you can stir it. 


Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice (fine strain if you have access to that and don't like pulp - tea strainers work great too!) Then add a 2oz float of a dry white wine. Garnish if you are feeling fancy.
