Breakfast Americana


  • 2 oz Woodford Reserve Double Oak
  • 1 oz Espresso Syrup (1:1 espresso + sugar)
  • 0.75 oz Orange Juice
  • 0.5 oz Amaretto
  • 2 dashes Black Walnut bitters
  • 1 whole egg
  • Garnish with bruleed cinnamon sugar


Chill coupe glass on the side

Pour all ingredients, except the egg, into shaking tins

Shake with ice

Strain liquid in to the tin without ice, toss the remaining ice, and add the egg.

Shake hard for 30 seconds

Dump ice from coupe glass

Double strain drink in to coupe

Cover one third of the drink with cinnamon sugar

Burn only the cinnamon sugar, lightly, with a torch

Serve, enjoy.
