The Old Fashioned

  • 2 oz. of Bourbon
  • 1 sugar cube
  • 2 dashes of Aromatic Bitters
  • 1 splash of soda water
  • 1 Cristallino Premium Ice Old Fashioned Cube
  • Orange Feather Garnish

The Old Fashioned dates back to the early 1800's and can easily be thought of as the original cocktail, (Spirit, Sugar, Bitters, Water). It's a terrific recipe to master and then expand upon by substituting different spirits, bitters and sweeteners, allowing you to customize the cocktail to your preference. Enjoy!

In an Old Fashioned Glass, muddle the sugar cube, two dashes of aromatic bitters and a splash of soda water into a paste or slurry with a fine and even, slightly granular texture.

Add two (2) ounces of bourbon to the Old Fashioned Glass and gently stir until the slurry is dissolved into the spirit.

Add 1 Cristallino Premium Ice Old Fashioned Cube to the glass and stir until chilled, approximately 30 turns.

Gently express the essential oils from an orange feather over the glass and then slide the feather beside the ice to garnish.

Drink slowly or quickly. Cheers!
